1.Appearance verification
Whether the product appearance and color are consistent with imagination, not only is the
customer's idea, but also is an important step for the designer to improve theirselves.
Consumers are rarely take apart to see the product. His first contact is the product
appearance: a whole shape, lines, color .Although the prototype will have some
differences with the computer as the level of the grinding and toning master, but
can usually be eight to nine points judgment and validation.
2.Structure verification
Structure verification first is to verify the product size, second need to verify if there
are problems of the imagine ,facilitate inspection and find the problems, the
installation sequence, structure mode, spatial interference, etc., are all the keys
of structure design verification.
3.To get the orders
Many customers take this to take part in the exhibition,tell the target customer
this is new develop products.If customer like and make an order,and then we
make the molding injection products.If the reflect is bad,will slow down the
pace of development, or offline promotion .it is a common practic.
The prototype model unable to verify at the below fields:
1.The drawbacks risk which product may face
As basically the prototype belongs to cold processing,not imitate the injection
process.It is hard to check whether there will be a shrink, welding scar, stress
mark,etc.To avoid such problems need designers with rich experience in
actual field work.
2.Surface treatment and sharp ridge
Prototype model cannot be made plica as the molding forming, also been
discounting on the appearance sharp ridge because of the grinding.
