The Precision of CNC Prototype Manufacturing
When we talk with customers, they would ask us that how much precision we can reach.
Why customer would us ask us this question. This is because the higher precision of prototype,
the less gap between protototype and real production and the testing result will be more real.
It is benefit to open mold to manufacture it.
Although the higher precision,it will have some difference with product.
When we manufacture prototype, the precision could be control ±0.1mm.
The machine in our company is bettwer so that the precision can reach 0.05~0.1mm.
Especially in medical industry,the requirement is different from other prototype,
which have strict requirement about precision.
Like the high precision of medical prototype, casting may cannot reach the requirement of ±0.1mm.
So they cannot satify the assembly requirement. If prototype need to make in batch, the cost is very high.
If customers need to make medical on batch, we will manufacture by casting.
Firstly, manufacture by CNC and then casting with master.
All in all,if the precision of prototype you need to manufacture is not very high,
you can use casting method. But if the prototype with high precision, it is better to us CNC manufacture.
