The prototype model and architecture model are all be called model.But the manufacturing
method is totally different.The prototype model sometimes cannot be the architecture model,
also the architecture model cannot be prototype model.Below I will make a brief introduction
of these two models.
The prototype model mainly for the industrial products,such as cars,household appliances,
toys,consumer electronics,used at the beginning of the product to verify.Prototype is the first
step to verify the product feasibility,is the most direct and effective way to find out product
design flaws,thus to improve the defect targeted,until the prototype model without any problems
as the basis of opening the mould.Generally need to make small batch test ,attract investment,
even to inspect the difficulty level of product assembling.
Architecture model also called sand plate,contribute to design and creation , can intuitively reflect
the design intent, compensate for the limitations in drawing . It is a part of the process of designers,
also belong to a
pattern of manifestation of the design,they are widely used in urban construction,
real estate development, commercial housing sales, design, bidding and investment cooperation,
etc.
Overall the models is mainly used in product design verification, new product display. Making
model is essential before new product appear on the market.
