TPU Material
What is material?
TPU (Thermoplasticpolyurethanes) is high polymer material which
is polymerized from diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI),toluene
diisocyanate( TDI) and polyhydric alcohols with macromolecule.
TPU is plastic material which can softening and transforming under
the certain heat. Under normal temperature, TPU can shape-preserving
to play function of support and protection, which is widely used into middle sole.
The characteristic of TPU material.
1. High-wearing feature: it can be tested from comparision of Taber
abrasion resistance index between TPU and other plastic material.
2. Wide hardness range；from change the matching of different TPU,
we can get product with different hardness. With the increasing of hardness,
the product still keep in good elasticity.
3. High mechanical strength: TPU product has good carrying capacity,
impact resistance and vibration reducing performance.
4. Good processability：TPU is thermoplastic material which is processed
by injection, extrusion and rolling.
5. Good chilling tolerance: TPU with glassy state can keep in good elasticity,
pliability and other physical properties.
6. Oil-resistance,water resistance,mildew resistance.
7. Good reclamation and reuse.
