1.Fracture:If the temperature improper controled ,the prototype material will craze,if encounter
this kind situation,we only can change the template. The crack during production and fracture
template generally due to the reason that the material’s heat treatment with too high hardness
and stress. Easy to appear crack when welding ,it is easy to crack when in the welding of Cr12
hard material . Template over stress and crack place mostly in the cavity angle, if can still can
be used, can cut holes,and splice the I-shaped,also can embrace around the template.
2.Deformation: one of the reasons the material deformation is some company in order to reduce
the cost,use not professional prototype steel material,it is insufficient rigidity,not enough
thickness,improper heat treatment and residual stress, electrical discharge machining stress,
etc.The above reasons often interacted,increases the deformation. In addition to make the
corresponding solution, widen the feet or add pillars at various points in the central prototype.
People often wear off the edge of the template, to reduce the contact area, we need to minimize
the grinding depth, to facilitate the effective life of prototype.It’s very hard to correct the standard
deviation of the cavity angle after deformation, the tight core will make the cavity wall deform,
need to pay more attention and change new core.
3.Bad heat dissipation:It is quite important of the prototype long core, choose the appropriate
material will make big difference of the product appearance and product yield . If choose the
material with contain beryllium and cobalt beryllium copper material, it will have high strength,
hardness,fatigue resistance,abrasion resistance and good heat transfer after the heat treatment .
