Guarantee of the prototype processing precision

During the process of processing and assembling in prototype factory,some accuracy problem
involves mutual relationship among a lot of parts ,it is very complex .If simply to improve the
accuracy of parts to meet the design requirements, sometimes not only difficult, but also can
not reach the requirements.If adopt the method of " in site processing", it is possible to quickly
solve the accuracy problem looks very difficult.For example,In the turret lathe manufacturing,
there are six installation tool holes on turret , its axis must guarantee coincidence with the
machine tool spindle rotating centerline, and the six plane must be vertical with the rotating
centerline.If regard turret as separate parts,it is difficult to meet the above two precision
requirements if assemble after processing these surface,because there involved many
complex size chain relationship.That is before assembly, these important surface not to
finish, after the turret assembly to the machine ,then make finishing to these holes and
plane on their own machine.
In the prototype production process will encounter this kind of situation:The machining
accuracy of the process is stable, process capability also enough,but the blank or
semi-finished products processing accuracy is too low , cause positioning error or rerun
error is too big, so can't guarantee machining accuracy.It is not economical if improve
blank accuracy or the process of machining accuracy.At this time,can adopt split the
original error method,divide the blank (or the workpiece in the process) into n group
according to the size error size, the error of each group blank shrinks by 1 / n, and then
adjust the relative position of tool and workpiece according the average size each group or
adjust setting element, can greatly reduce the size dispersion scope of the batch workpiece.
