The importance of the ABS material in prototype production

ABS material is a kind of thermoplastic polymer materials with high strength,good toughness ,
easy process molding.ABS usually have two colors,slight yellow and black,with a certain
toughness,density of about 1.04-1.06g/cm3.It has a strong ability of acid,alkali,salt corrosion,
also can be tolerated by organic solvent-soluble in certain extent.ABS resin can keep normal
in -25℃～60℃ environment,and with good formability,the product processed by it with smooth
surface,easy to dyeing and electroplating.
Good impact resistance:only produce ductile deformation when suffered a surprise attack.
Long life:It can be used for 50 years in the room,and the life would be longer if buried in the
ground or water,and no significant corrosion.The chemical properties is stable,non-toxic,
tasteless,and full compliance with health and safety requirements of the pharmaceutical ,
food and other industries.
High pressure:the pressure is 1.0Mpa at normal temperature 20℃.
Operating temperature range:-20℃～+70℃.
Light weight,saving the investment:The weight of ABS is 1/7 of the steel,thus reduce the
weight of the structure and reduce the labor intensity of the workers,what's more,reduce
the consumption of raw materials.
So it can be used for appliance housings,toys and other daily necessities.
