The prototype can be divided into handmade prototype and
CNC prototype in accordance with
the means of production .
1.Handmade prototype:The main work is done by hand
2.CNC prototype:The main work is done by CNC machine.
It also can be divided into laser rapid prototyping in accordance with different equipment.
A:RP prototype:(RP,Rapid Prototyping)it is made by laser rapid prototyping technology.
The advantage of the RP prototype mainly in its rapidity.But it is mainly formed by stacking
technology,thus relative rough.And also have certain requirements on the thickness of the wall.
For example,if the wall is too thin,then cannot be produced.
B:CNC prototype:it is mainly produced by processing center.
The advantage of the CNC prototype is can reflect the expressed information on the drawing
accuracy.And the surface quality is good,especially after spraying and silk screen on surface,
it is more gorgeous than the product which made after opening the mold.Therefore,the CNC
prototyping manufacture become more and more mainstream.
The prototype can be divided into plastic prototype and metal prototype,in accordance with
the material.
1.Plastic prototype:the raw material is plastic,such as television,displayer,telephone,etc.
2.Metal prototype:the raw material is aluminum magnesium alloy ,such as notebook
computers,advanced multiplayer,MP3 player,CD machine,etc.
