    1. Influence factors of the prototype surface roughness by cutting process 
   (1) Complex mapping of the cutlery geometry
When cutlery make feeding movement relative to the workpiece, left a residual area of the cutting
layer on the prototype manufacturing surface, its shape is a complex mapping of the cutlery geometry.
Reduce the feed rate, the main angle, side angle and increase the corner radius can reduce the
height of the residual area.
   Besides, appropriate to increase the front rank angle of the cutlery to reduce the degree of the
plastic deformation in the cutting. A reasonable choice of lubricant and improve the quality of cutlery
to reduce of the degree of the plastic deformation in the cutting and restrain knife tumor and the
generation of scale thorn are also the effective measures of reducing surface roughness.
   (2) The nature of prototype workpiece material
When process plastic material, because of the extrusion cutlery to metal produce plastic deformation,
coupled with the cutlery to force the chip and workpiece separation tear the role,made the roughness
of the surface increase.
The better of the toughness of the workpiece material as possible, the plastic deformation of the
metal are bigger, and the surface are more rough. When process brittle materials, the chip was
crushed granular, due to the collapse of broken chips left many pitting in the processing of surface ,
so that make the surface rough.
  (3)Consumption of prototype cutting
   2.Influence factors of surface roughness by grinding
As the formation process of surface roughness in cutting process ,the formation process of surface
roughness in grinding process also determined by geometric and plastic deformation of the metal
on the surface.
   3.The main factors of influencing grinding surface roughness
The intensity of grinding wheel ;the hardness of grinding wheel; the repair and maintain of grinding
wheel; the radial feed in grinding and number of times of light grinding; the feed speed of workpiece
circular and axial feeding; cooling lubricant.
