Material selection skills of prototype

Whether the material selection of prototype model factory  is reasonable or not, will greatly 
affect the prototype life and fabrication procedure. Need to make reasonable arrangement 
of selecting material according to the different requirements of the prototype structure and
performance.　
If product need to be mirror,then should choose good material of prototype industry-P20 
electro slag remelting.This material through special craft processing, can satisfy the high
degree finish requirement and process requirements of the prototype. The four slider 
material of the cavity part is 45 steel, as the size of the prototype is big,therefore must  
must make normalizing treatment after forging blank, eliminate internal stress and 
improve machinability performance. After conditioning treatment, after rough machining
adjust to hb240-270, in order to make sure has certain strength and stiffness.
The feedback after actual use fully reflect the correctness and necessity of the heat 
treatment process. If every part working condition is good,smoothly movement, the 
movable fit surface wear is small,in some extent, will decrease the difficulty of maintain
the prototype ,also prolong its life.
