In the process of the prototype making, we usually use the SLA rapid prototyping, so what advantages and disadvantages of the
SLA rapid prototyping has?
The advantages of the
SLA rapid prototyping are as follows:

The systems work stably. Once the system starts to work, the whole process of building parts can work automatically without special care until the end of the process.

The precision of the size is relatively high, which can ensure the dimensional accuracy of the parts within 0.1mm.

The surface quality is better, the top surface of the part is smooth, the side may have uneven steps and different levels of surface.

The system has higher resolution, therefore, it can construct complex parts.
The disadvantages of the
SLA rapid prototyping are as follows:

As time goes by, the resin can absorb the moisture in the air, resulting in the soft thin section bending and curly.

The life of the helium cadmium laser tube only has 3000 hours, the price is expensive. At the same time, it need to scan the whole section of curing and the forming time is long, so the cost of the production is relatively high.

The alternative materials is limited, which must be photosensitive resin. The parts come out from this kind of resin which cannot conduct the durable and thermal performance test. Plus, the photosensitive resin pollute the environment which make the skin allergy.

Need to design the support structure of the parts, so as to ensure that each structure can be positioned reliably in the process of the forming.
