We need to assess the new customers to see how many prototypes they may have to make in a year according to their industry and strength. We should pay attention to the price , quality, delivery time and provided first offer as low as possible.

Learn to look at drawings, such as 3D drawing, 2D drawing, effect drawing etc. As soon as we see the drawing, we can approximately calculate the processing time by CNC. If you processed by laser, we should estimate the probably weight. (note the unit as inch)

We should understand what products the customers would like to make, how many sets will to be made, what processing method(CNC, SLA, SLS), required material and whether to be made complex mode.

Complex mode: Generally speaking, transparent silicone can be made about 15 unit each time. While ordinary silica only can be made 8-10 unit each time.

We should understand whether to be use some special technology, such as electroplating, pad printing, laser engraving, oxidation, drawing, stamping, high light, UV etc.

We should get the post processing requirements clear, whether to be made white prototype or fuel prototype, what oil will spray, whether the customer provide color pantone or not, you should find out what kind of color to be used without pantone, the surface need to spray glossy or matte, and any silk screen printing requirements.
