The development and research of Rapid Prototyping can be divided into the following aspects:
1.Some rapid prototyping materials without the high performance characteristics, therefore,
should develop the high performance material as far as possible,such as those material with
easy forming,high intensity,low cost,pollution-free, durable and small deformation ,they are
all ideal targets.
2.Must greatly develop the processing speed of rapid prototyping system,and research and
develop parallel manufacturing to improve efficiency at the same time.
3.The reliability of the rapid prototyping system needs to be improved, its ability to make big
and productivity has a lot of space to improve. At the same time, must make equipment
structure optimized, especially for physical properties, surface quality and the precision of
forming parts.
4.Some high performance rapid prototyping system software need to be developed. And data
processing precision and speed must be improved. Need to research the method through
the CAD primary data to slice directly, at the same time, must reduce the loss accuracy of
slice processing and format conversion process.
5.New rapid prototyping energy need to be researched and developed.
6.Need to innovate and improve the rapid prototyping technology and method. According to
the current study, directly metal forming technology will become the hot spot of future
application and research.
