Pressing prototype is mainly used for thermosetting molding plastic parts .Its method is add
the plastic raw materials (powder, granularity, flake, fragmental, fibrous and other various
forms) directly into the pressured model cavity and the feed compartment with prescribed
temperature ,and then close the prototype at a certain speed.The plastic will melt and flow
under heat and pressure, and fills the cavity quickly, and curing finalize the design under the
physical and chemical effect ,then we can get the plastic parts with required shape and size ,
and then open the prototype ,take out the plastic parts when it in the best performance.
When the pressing prototype used in molding thermoplastic plastics, then after adding the
thermoplastic plastic into the prototype cavity, gradually heating ,pressure to convert flow status
and fills the cavity, and then cooling, make the plastic hardening,then take the plastic parts out.
Due to the prototype need to alternately heating and cooling, the long production cycle efficiency
is low and the labor intensity is larger.
Although the pressing molding method is ancient, its technology is mature and reliable, and
accumulated rich experience, suitable for forming large plastic parts, and a smaller shrinkage
rate of plastic parts, small deformation, the performance is relatively uniformity.Therefore, it
cannot be eliminated even at present the thermosetting plastics has used injection method to
produce.
