Prototype is the first step to verify product feasibility, and it is the most direct and effective way to
 find the defect of the design product, thus to improve the defect targeted, until can't find the 
shortage from the individual.
So usually need to make small amount trial production to find the shortage of the batch and then 
to improve.The designed product generally can't be perfect, even can't be used, it will scrap once 
have defective if product directly, waste the manpower ,material resources and time greatly; 
whereas the prototype is few samples generally,  production cycle is short, loss less manpower,
 and can quickly find out the shortcomings and then improve the product design, provide sufficient
 basis for product production.
