ABS resin acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resi is one of five
synthetic resin, which has functions of resisting the changing loading,
heat-resistance, low temperature resistance, chemical resistance
and good electrical property. Its characteristics includes easy
processing, stable product dimensions, good surface glossiness
and so on. ABS is also easy to paint and coat and plate metal oil,
weld and hot-press and paste. ABS is widely used in industrial
circle of machinery, automobile, electronic product, instrument
and apparatus, textile and building, which is a kind of thermoplastic
engineering plastics with wide usage. Because of performance ,
ABS also become one of extensive use general-purpose plastics
in CNC prototype field.
ABS has good synthesis physics, mechanical property, low
temperature shock resistance, dimensional stability, electrical
property, abrasive resistance, chemicals resistance, chromaticity,
good finished product processing and machining. ABS is water
proofing, inorganic salt resistance ,alkali resistance and acids
resistance, which does not dissolve in alcohols and varsol and
dissolve in aldehyde, ketone, ester and chlorinated hydrocarbon.
ABS is low distortion temperature and combustible, bad weather
resistance. The melting temperature is 217~237℃ and thermal
decomposition temperature is above 250℃.
