Rapid prototyping developed in the mid 1980s, refers to the technology under the computer's
 control and management, driven directly by the CAD parts model, adopt the material
 accumulated complex three dimensional entity prototype or parts manufacture.RP technology
 completely changed the production mode of the manufacturing, become an important part of
 advanced manufacturing technology.The biggest characteristic is  high flexibility, that means
 without any special tools,can directly drive equipment to complete the parts forming 
manufacturing or prototype parts forming manufacturing.The organic combination of RE and
 RP technology, becomes a powerful tool for manufacturing enterprises to improve 
competitiveness,plays a role part in shorten the development cycle of new products,reduce
 production cost ,promote customized,and development of the small batch and single 
processing mode.In addition to the widely application of the aerospace, automobile, 
mould industry,consumer electronic,toys traditional fields,this technology also applied
 in the human engineering,clothing, digital museum, art imitation and damage repair, 
medical.
