Classifications of CNC prototype
According to materials, CNC prototype can be divided into three classifications :
CNC plastic prototype, CNC silica-gel prototype and CNC mental prototype.
CNC Plastic prototype whose raw materials is plastic, is mainly some prototypes
of plastic goods, such as television,display,telephone set and soon.
CNC Silica-gel prototype whose raw material is silica-gel, is mainly some prototypes
of showing the goods’ appearance design such as automobile ,mobile phone,toy,
crafts,general merchandise and so on.
CNC Mental prototype whose raw material is metal such as aluminium magnesium alloy,
is mainly some prototypes of top quality merchandise such as laptop,monoplayer, MP3player,
CD player and so on.
CNC prototype can check out the appearance of design, which is not only visual, but also
accessible. It can reflect the conception of designer with visual practicality, which avoid the
disadvantage of beautiful drawing but not beautiful practicality. Therefore, CNC prototype is
