Sheet metal prototype:The material of sheet metal prototype is the same as the material which 
be rushed out by the model ,it is galvanized board.
The manufacturing process of  prototype factory are as below:
Laser cutting(CNC punching machine cutting)-CNC bending forming-spot welding, blind revet,
boult)parts combination-surface treatment(painting)-finished product.
The appearance of the sheet metal parts is worse than the parts rushed out by the model.But 
because don't have to develop the mould, it is a small batch products production method.
Plastic prototype:The material of the plastic prototype including ABS,PC,PMMA,PU.ABS is the 
most common prototype material.PC,PMMA generally used in transparent parts,PU is generally
 used in silicon mould small batch product material.ABS is mechanism squares, the density is 
lower than those of injected ABS.After processing, internal molecular chain was cut fracture.
So the strength of the prototype made by ABS is low, easy to fracture ,cannot be used as 
sales products.
The process of plastic prototype is CNC numerical control processing and silicon mold .
There is another process called laser rapid prototyping,the production speed is fast ,but 
because of the precision of the finished product is poor, bad surface quality, it is not
 recommended.
CNC means CNC milling machining cutting.The tools is generally the same as common 
machining.The difference is milling material is ABS,PC,PMMA.3D data use numerical
 machining software programming.Output to the CNC machine can work out what we
 need semi-finished products.The semi-finished products after polishing, spray ,plating 
process,to be final sample.It can equivalent to a formal products. It is the best way to 
display and verify the appearance and function prototype .
The silicone mold is use silicone rubber to make the mold appearance.Use special 
equipment to take out the silicone mold internal vacuum; then inject PU to the silicon 
mold,put it into the high temperature oven for curing , fold and take out the sample.
The strength of the parts made by this kind of method is high , can be used as sales
 product.Each silicone mould can be produced to hundreds sets.The quantity is too
 many affect the precision decrease.It is a good way for short-term small batch products.
