The high precision grinding technology of prototype cylindrical surface machining

With the development of science and technology, it requires more and more higher of the 
workpiece machining accuracy and surface quality . Therefore after finishing the outer 
circular surface , often need to make precision machining. The precision machining of 
cylindrical surface method commonly including the high precision grinding, super finishing,
grinding and rolling processing, etc.

High precision grinding
The grinding process wich make the surface roughness of the shaft below 0. 165m called
high precision grinding, it includes precision grinding (R to be 0.6-0.065m), ultra-precision
grinding (R to be 04 to 0. 5 m) and mirror grinding (< 0.015 m).

The essence of the high precision grinding lies in the effect of the grinding whell abrasive.
After fine dressing,the grinding grain of the grinding wheel formed to many micro blade 
grinding at the same time. These micro blade contour are good, the cutting edges increased
greatly, can cut the micro chip from the workpiece, form the surface with small roughness.
With the continue of the grinding process, sharp blade gradually passivation. The passivated
abrasive can be polishing effect, lower the roughness further.
