Prototype surface metallic cementation means in certain temperature and vacuum conditions,
restore the active metal atoms or ionization, sputtering metal atom diffusion in prototype steel
substrate surface to form alloy layer, so as to change the surface chemical composition,
microstructure and property . Prototype surface metallic cementation technology belong to the
category of steel chemical heat treatment , in essence ,diffusion through high temperature,to
make the chromium, vanadium, titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, cobalt, nickel,
aluminum and other effective atom solided or carbide carbonitriding layer organization in the
prototype surface , with high hardness, good wear resistance, and has good resistance to
oxidation and corrosion , greatly improving the prototype surface performance and service life.
Prototype ion nitriding is currently the most widely used and mature industrial ion heat treatment
process. The process through adjusting the process parameters (such as voltage, current,
furnace pressure, temperature, time and work gas composition, etc.) to obtain pure diffusion layer,
single-phase, compounds, etc. The key of the ion nitriding technology is how to according to its
characteristics, combine with the related standard service conditions, choose technological
parameters reasonably,and then achieve the best optimal permeability layer.
