There are so many kinds of prototype model material,different material have different purposes,
below will introduce several kinds of common prototype model material.
1.PP is translucent material, good resistance to impact, excellent flexibility, prototype model can
be applied to rigid impact resistance condition, such as: automotive supplies, the folding box, etc .
2.Magnesium alloy, light and good strength, it is the material 3 c consumer like to choose. Defect
is magnesium metal is flammable, environment control is very important when machining,the
making risk is very high, there are a lot of machinery engineeri when make production and after
die casting.It belongs to high cost application materials.
3.PC,the strength, toughness and transparency are all good, suitable for Lens, fine structure
part. And the prototype had added glass fiber to improve the rigidity and heat resistance plate,
can be used for the parts retains high rigidity even in high temperature.
4.ABS,widely used for general product shell, have good dissolves strength, can make surface
metal chemical process. Such as water electroplating, vacuum evaporation, the material
specifications has sheet, round bar, etc.Acrylic or organic glass.It is the best material to make
the transparcy parts, can be died,electroplating, spraying, screen printing and other methods.
Dissolves strength is good, its weakness is easy to fragile, not suitable for fragile place of the
hook.
