The necessary of 3D drawing when CNC Prototype Manufacturing
HongKong Leecheer Prototype Manufacturing Limited have engaged in
prototype manufacturing for more than 15 years. In general, many customers
would provide corresponding 3D drawing of the prototype they want to
manufacture. However, we would also meet some customers who do
not understand the prototype manufacturing process. They usually don’t
want to give us 3D drawing because they are afraid to reveal their design.
They would ask that why we need 3D drawing. Leecheer would sign a
confidentiality agreement with our customer. We will definitely protect
our customers’ design. Now Leecheer explain to you the necessary of
3D drawing when CNC prototype manufacturing.
At present,the main methods of prototype manufacturing are
CNC manufacturing, 3D printing, vacuum casting. Although they are
different in operating principle. They must have 3D drawing to programme .
The 3D drawing need to be programmed to guide the ruotine of CNC machine.
The fundamental principle of CNC manufacturing is manufacturing route
of digital controlled lathe which is the turning tool moving from cutter-setting
calculation and return original point and ending all route of workpiece programme.
The route includes manching route, cut-in tool route, cut -off route.
And the setting these routes is defined by 3D drawing.
Without 3D drawing, we cannot manufacture out the prototype you need.
