Techniques When Processed Prototype by CNC Machine
Generally, New products which just finished designs need to make real prototype.
Prototype is the first step to test the possibility of design. Prototype is the most direct
and effect method to figure out the defects, shortage and drawback of designs.
Designers can find defacts from prototype and modify design until the final design is perfect.
Therefore, it may need trial-produce the small batch to find out the shortage of batch production.
The finished deign cannot be perfect or even cannot be use. If they are put into production,
it will be all scrapped once it have any defects, which waste manpower, material and time.
And prototypes is sample with small quantity, short production cycle, reducing the waste
of manpower and material, which can find out the defect of design quickly and provide
enough basis for mass production.
So what kind of techniques when processed prototype by CNC machine?
1. To finish most of working procedure or all working procedure in one process
and reduce clamping time of components.
2. Locate the benchmark according to drawing when processing.
3. Choose the most suitable tool to machine according to the material
and size of components to reduce machining time.
4. When machining, adopting climb milling as much as possible to reduce
the wearness of tools and axiles of lathe, and machine out good surface finish.
5. When machining, reducing the dry running of manufactured route of procedure
to reduce the wearness and machining time of lathe.
