In industrial design process, the CNC prototype model manufacturing is an important link, 
from purely manual model manufacturing to half mechanization model to modern CAM, the
 development of the prototype manufacturing is a microcosm of modern manufacturing 
technology progress. Practice has proved that the prototype manufacturing is not only plays
 an important role in product design decisions, but also is the powerful tool of the product 
information confidential and market promotion.
Usually 80% of the production cost is determined at the design stage, design stage is an
 important part of controlling the cost.During the modern enterprise product development 
process, industrial design plays an important role in commanding the whole situation all 
the time, the decision at the beginning of the prototype model design has an important 
influence on product design orientation,cost control,production,quality tests,show and
 advertising,market promotion,and recycle,etc ,the entire cycle .
CNC prototype model manufacturing can do some functional tests, can simulate product
final form, including the function form, surface morphology, etc..Use the material (such 
as ABS,PC,etc)with a certain strength can produce functional prototype model contains 
inner structure ,to test if the product structure is reasonable, whether the wall thickness
conform to the requirements, if the moving parts is smooth, etc.
CNC prototype model design is the early performance which convenient and quickly.
Can make out the model from different scheme at the early stage.Through the exhibition
 or make the market research by actual validation of the end customer.Also can adopt 
rapid prototype model technology to make small batch model,send the product model 
to different areas for investigation to obtain the research data with more market differentiation.
