The Advantages and Disadvantages of Prototype UV Varnishing
The surface of prototype sprays a UV varnishing as a protection.UV varnishing is
ultraviolet light polymerization coating which also call photo-initiation coating.
After the treament of glossy UV varnishing, the surface of prototype stick a layer
of smooth and transparent effect. Spraying a layer of transparent painting and stoving
with ultraviolet light, the prototype is more bright and not easy to be scratched.
The advantages and disadvantages of prototype UV varnishing
1. High hardness . The highest hardness can reach 5~6H.
2. Fast curable velocity and high productivity. The coating can be solidified in 30 minutes
by ultraviolet curing.
3. The UV coating properties is excellent. The performance index of hardness, wear-resistance,
acid-base resistance, saltmist resistance and gasoline resistance is very high. Especially,
its film is plumpness and glossy.
4. There is pollution-free when UV-curing process, so UV varnishing is recognized
as green environmental protection production.
5. UV varnishing is sensitive to dust, so it is strict to construction environment.
6. It is easy to crack exposed under sun light and without any protection.
7. It will yellow generally. Therefore, if the appearance of product reuires pure white,
UV varnishing do not suggest.
8. The price is relatively expensive. Before UV varnishing, the prototype
should be high polished.
