The Processing Method of ABS
ABS prototype is one of the most common prototype, which is
about 80% of the total quantity of prototype. ABS is a kind of
good engineering plastic, whose intensity can satisfy the need
of different kind of prototype manufacturing, such as test function,
polishing and spraying. It is easy to polish ABS and the surface
finished can be ensured.
The processing method of ABS
1. CNC. The CNC prototype is finished by numerically-controlled
machine tool. The advantage of CNC prototype is that it can
accurately reflect the information of drawing and the surface finished
of CNC prototype is very high in quality, especially after it is finished
spraying and silk-screen. Therefore, CNC prototype manufacturing
become the mainstream of prototype manufacturing industry.
2. SLA laser rapid prototyping. With the theroy of stacking Forming
or straggling. SLA simplifies the complicate three-dimensional
manufacturing into superposition of two-dimension., which achieves
the manufacturing of any complicate parts.
3. SLS laser rapid prototyping. With the theroy of stacking Forming
or straggling. SLA simplifies the complicate three-dimensional
manufacturing into superposition of two-dimension, which achieves
the manufacturing of any complicate parts.
4. Silicone casting. Silicone casting is one of rapid prototyping.
Its advatange is rapid time, underspend and less probability of
defeated manufacturing. The material can be manufactured by
silcone casting including ABS, PC, PP, PA, soft rubber, clear piece.
