1.How to do if the prototype model silicone sticky?
Generally it is caused by the below two reasons:
First reason is haven’t make reasonable processing on the product model at the early stage.
So need to make processing before opening the mould,for example,must be polished smooth
and clean if the model surface relatively coarse or make very complex mould,then brush the
release agent evenly.The commonly used mold release agent have vaseline, detergent, liquid
paraffin, etc.Can brush different release agent according the mould material in practical
operation.
The second reason is pour into the mould before stirring the curing agent evenly,when release,
some piece dry,some not.
2.How to do if the silicone model after solidifying not even ?
Leecheer prototype analysis the reasons why to cause this phenomenon :
1. The ratio of the silicone and curing agent is not accurate,haven’t weighed as required;
2.After the silicone and curing agent mixed without carefully stirring,this will cause the mold
scrapped, need try to avoid.
