The characteristics of the acrylic material prototype and PC material prototype

PC material resistant to high temperature, the temperature between 120 - 150 degrees or so.
If need  transparent material with resistance to the high temperature, PC is the best choice. 
The transparency of the acrylic is high , after polishing treatment, transparency can achieve
whole transparent effect, this effect we called organic glass in the industry insiders. This is 
what PC material can't be compared.Although PC is transparent but the effect is not as good
as acrylic.
What’s the drawbacks of the acrylic?As you know,glass is very fragile, acrylic is a kind of organic
glass, its physical properties is also very fragile, the fault with poor toughness will make the acrylic
easy to broke .This need to be avoided in the process of professional prototype making, therefore 
can only be replaced with other materials, such as a PC.
The advantages and disadvantages of PC and acrylic are: the transparency of the PC material is 
so so, but good toughness and resistance to high temperature. Whereas the transparent effect 
of the acrylic is good, poor toughness, high temperature resistance is not obvious. So by
analyzing the above performance, customer can choose the material according reasonable choice.
