The production method of the prototype model

Prototype model means according the 3D pattern of the product(the appearance design or 
structure design) to make one or many product models before opening the model,and-board 
model,this model is used for inspection if its appearance and structure is correct.Even some 
can inspection the parts of the assemble product to make further test,improve the security and 
reliability of its development and production.The general two processing methods of the 
prototype production are CNC processing and rapid formation,and will need to adopt silicone 
mode and RIM production for small quantity production.

 1. CNC prototype can reflect the information which design want to show very accurately,and 
its surface quality is very good, especially after finish surface spraying and silk-screen of the 
surface, some will also better than after open mold products,more bright.
So it is gradually become the mainstream for prototype manufacturing.
2 .About the rapid formation method, the most prominent is its speed, but it is mainly form
 through the accumulation technology, so generally the products made by it is more rough, 
also there is a certain standard of its wall thickness ,if too thin,then cannot product.SLA and
 SLS are all fit for the samples with complex structure and high accuracy.
3.It will adopt silicone mode processing method if in need of small quantity,make the model 
according to the 3 d drawings or physical first, and then make the samples by vacuum pouring, 
a set of this model can be pouring out the number of products 15 to 20 sets, and have larger 
cost advantages.
