Light curing rapid prototyping process steps including data preparation, model stratification ,
solid build and subsequent processing,etc.
Data preparation.Convert various molding file into the light curing rapid prototyping machines
required STL standard file formats through the data processing system , lists the support of
the gear model data processing and the related parameters of the STL.
Model stratification.Firstly,check and repair the STL file format, and select or optimize the
direction of molding, so that can accurately make the real products.This process also
including the selection of slice thickness,build mode, scanning velocity, scanning mode,
radius compensation,etc, the selection of stratification parameter have a big influence on
the prototyping time and model quality.
Prototype building. Liquid photopolymer will undergo polymerization after being scanned
by laser beam , after curing to section contour, the workbench plate down a layer height,
the liquid polymers in the liquid tank flow through the solidified the section contour layer,
and then scan curing to the new covered liquid polymer layer,repeat until completion of
the whole parts. During the process of the gear machining including scanning speed
and the way of related process parameters.
Subsequent processing.After finish the processing process, take out the model from
the workbench and cleaning,then make inspection and subsequent processing.If there
are resin not completely cured,must adopt strong ultraviolet to irradiate, make them
completely hardened.In addition,the support structure of the model must also be removed
and repaired, and need to make sand blast processing to the higher requirements model.
