Why prototype need to be polished an function?

 When polished, prototype has distinctions on shape and structure. If the shape is not special,
there is no much difference to finished product when polished. We should choose different 
abrasive paper. At first we can choose some rather rough abrasive paper to polished rough 
selvage and then process with more detailed polishing. According to different requirement of 
surface, the level of polishing would be different. After polishing, prototype should be sprayed 
some putty to make the roughness of surface more obvious and check the problem existed. 
So at this time, when amended, it would be targeted until all polishing have finished.
 
The three functions of polishing processing

First, strengthening the adhesive force of painting. Before paint new film, the old film should
 be polished. So after polished, the adhesive force of prototype will be strengthened.

Second, for base material, polishing mainly clean the rag and oil pollution and dust on surface.

Third, smoothness.  The surface raw material is rough generally. So polishing can reduce the 
roughness of surface.

To prototype, polishing is a necessary job.
