SLS also called powder materials by selective laser sintering, laser selection sintering or powder
sintering. Spread the material powder on the surface of the forming parts , then struck, use the
high strength laser to scan the parts section on the just installed new layer.The material powder
was sintered together in high intensity laser irradiation, get the cross section of the parts, and then
connect with the forming parts below; after sintering of a layer of section, covered a new layer
powder materials, selective sintering lower section. The principle of SLS technology is through
the infrared laser beam to thermoplastic powder material heating ,then sintering to form
three-dimensional entity. Forming through the laser beam to a layer of thin powder material
repeatability of sintering accumulation. The sintering  powder material layers of stack, and
finally form a pre-set good need size shape.
On the one hand manifests the advantage of SLS is widely selection material, high efficiency,
such as nylon, synthetic rubber, especially can manufacture metal parts makes this attractive
process; On the other hand, manufacturing process is simple, high precision, and at the same
time, use of high temperature sintering material molding parts in the strength and hardness is
also considerable.
