A summary of design problems of the mobile phone prototype

1.If there are weak links in prototype ,the head of mobile phone easy to crack.The main reason is
that there are injection defects caused by combination line and complex structure.Need to add
rib and chamfering to ensure the strength in advance.
2.The choice of installation location is very important.First,need to check where the vibration
effect is the best ;Second,no complex position is better,because there is sliding phenomenon,
for example,it is likely to be stuck when encountered in the vicinity of rib , which lead to failure
of call vibration.
3.The backup battery generally chosen by ME.There will be occur empty welding and cold
welding in the time of SMD.The battery will fly out if didn’t design well of the mechanism
part of the backup battery position .
4.There are two kinds forms: needle point and spring plate. The former might occur moment
insufficient current phenomenon due to the small contact area ,but the occupied area is
small. While the stability of the latter is good, due to the large contact area, but the occupied
area is large.
5.The prototype factory shrink position better to have 0.8-1mm gap between the shell. To
avoid the body and the shell connect together to cause shrinkage.
6.Because the hanging hole need to bear 15 pounds tension force,the wall thickness of
the housing hanging hold need to ensure sufficient strength.
7.If the front shell and back shell not match,the back shell generally will larger than front,
so need to remind the mould factory that when making mould,back shell take smaller
shrinkage rate.This is because the injection conditions are different ,the back shell
need larger injection pressure.
