PP plastic, chemical name “Polypropylene”(PP).Its heat resistance is the best in general plastics.
The heat distortion temperature is 80-100℃,can be cooked in boiling water.
PP has good resistance to stress cracking, and have high bending fatigue life, commonly known
as “pleated plastic”. The overall performance of PP is better than PE material. It is light ,and good
toughness ,good chemical resistance. Whereas, the disadvantage of PP is :low dimensional
accuracy, insufficient rigidity and poor weather resistance, it has shrinkage phenomenon, and
easy to aging, brittle, deformed after demoulding.
PP prototype has small density, easy welding and processing, with excellent chemical resistance,
heat resistance and impact resistance, non-toxic, tasteless, it is one of the most in line with the
environmental requirements of engineering plastics.
